Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on February 20 that the social media giant is launching Meta Verified, a paid subscription, on Facebook and Instagram. Priced at $11.99 per month on web browsers and $14.99 on iOS, paid subscription users will receive a blue badge, as well as other features including “additional impersonation protection”. This service is being told like Twitter, users will be charged for blue mark and other security.

Meta said it’s only launching in Australia and New Zealand this week, and is expected to release to the US and other countries in the coming months. Users need to submit their government ID to verify. Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, has also introduced premium verification.

Means now social media platforms Facebook and On Instagram too, you will have to pay for a verified account i.e. Blue Tick. Its price is $ 11.99 (Rs 993) for web and for iOS$ 14.99 (Rs 1241) has been fixed.

Meta said that It is expected to be available in the US and other countries too.

The company’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has planned it. He said this week  right now the service will start here only in Australia and New Zealand, after that it has been asked to start in other countries.
