After getting the FIR done, go to the Government of India portal www.ceir.gov.in. After this portal is opened, you will see a red coloured box at the bottom of this portal.
In which “your stolen or lost mobile” will be written. Click on this box. As soon as you click on this box, a form will open in front of you on the screen. In this form, fill your name, mobile number and your complete details comfortably.
Below in the form, you will see the option of FIR number, in which you can enter your FIR number. You will get the FIR number in your report. And also there will be an option to fill up the IMEI number of your phone. Fillup the IMEI number of the phone which you have lost.
You can find out the IMEI number by dialling *#06 in your phone. You should always know the IMEI number of your phone.
