The “Federal Bureau of Investigation” warns people against using public mobile charging stations to avoid harmful software that exposes their devices badly.
Mostly, Mobile Charging stations are used in the US by those who are working. They use it for changing their phone, laptops and smart watches. Charging stations are made in malls and at airports. They make their life easy but it is not safe for their services. They came up with unpleasant participants to increase malware and monitoring software.
Recently, Cable News Network said that “This was a gentle reminder for the American citizens to stay safe and secure, especially while travelling with smartphones.”
Warning! people who use public charging stations will harm the devices
The reason behind this warning is that individuals should be cautious when using free public charging stations. They can easily use an AC power adapter to charge their devices or they can carry a portable charger also.
It is observed that, cybercriminals can easily compromise the charging stations and use them to install software or steal all the sensitive data from the device while charging.
With this news,The FBI wants to create awareness and warning among people. They also want to communicate that by using public changing stations, their phones and other electronic devices are hacked by hackers easily. They say for “not to use free public changing stations“ to charge their devices. It may harm their data privacy by which data can be easily hacked. With this, Hackers easily put virus and other tracking software in devices of the public.

FBI also warns that, Hackers just wanted to hack the free charging points and by using this technique they want to gather the data from public devices and have a plan to put harmful viruses in laptops of local peoples.

According to a Research, it is observed that the cord you use to charge your phones and laptops is also used to send data from your phone to other devices. For instance, when you plug your iPhone and Apple I- pad into your Mac with the charging cord, you can easily download all the photos and other data from your phone to your computer. So, with this cord hackers easily collect all the data from the devices of local people.
On Tuesday,the agency advised in the tweet that “Carry your own charger and USB cord and use an electrical outlet instead”.
