Doraje Tea’s the original taste of tea from Darjeeling. Dorj means “thunder” It was founded by Sparsh Agarwal and ishaan kanoria in April 2021. Basically, they both are childhood friends from Darjeeling and have a family business of teas.After the pandemic they decide to leave the job and want to continue the family heritage business of teas because they have a strong connection from the location and local peoples so to keep childhood memories memorable continue they decide to launch “Doraje Teas” where teas are available through subscription system and want to serve high quality organic tea to every indian in a very affordable price.

Organic tea is provided from different climate changes and different seasonal leaves which are plugged, packed and dispatched from Selim Hill tea gardens.

The idea came by looking at the impact of the lockdown on darjeeling tea industry then both decide and think tank to come- on- board dorje and help management for a new innovation and creative idea to serve the refreshing teas to every tea lover.They want to change the new age D2C companies were trying to dispute the market where they server neither organic,authentic nor fresh and flavorful tea.

They want a new and unique tea experience for the customers in which tea gardens are no longer dependent on exports. Mainly they want to connect customers directly to gardens and want a subscriber in which every subscriber who joins their work with the Selim hill collective plant a tree in their name.

India has approx. 10000 teas gardens where they provide different climate change teas and they introduce “first flush tea” that is grown during spring season every year from march to may it is also known as ‘Champagne of Teas’ which taste like Floral and Subtle and mostly exported and made in very small quantities and hand plucked and grown sustainably.
